Does it create a real font file?

No. This first version outputs a build plan.

Font glyphs need contour geometry; non-path SVG shapes must be converted before compilation.

Are icon fonts always recommended?

Often SVG sprites or components are better, but icon fonts are still useful for legacy workflows.

The tool extracts path elements as glyph candidates, assigns Unicode-style codepoints, and lists expected font outputs.

It does not generate WOFF, TTF, or CSS files yet. Real icon font output requires a font compiler pipeline.
